The number of Serious and Critical Cases in American hospitals just rose over 10,000 yesterday for the first time in over a month.
There have not been that many since March 13th.
The number dropped below 9,000 and remained below that figure for weeks.
Now it's on the way back up.
Hang on to those masks, folks. The next wave is coming on.

We were doing good, getting the number of active cases of corona down.
Then everybody thought the job was done and dropped the effort.
Governors relaxed measures, things started to open back up.
That was a mistake. We opened back up too soon.
The job wasn't done.
Now, we stopped reducing the number of active cases.
We leveled the curve but we didn't want to because it was falling.
It is falling no more. And it is poised to start going back up.
Israel did much better job than we've done.
