trump was not getting enough oxygen to sustain his brain over time. he may have naturally gotten enough oxygen in time to prevent brain damage, but also maybe not. he was having heart palpitations. Again, that might have taken care of itself, or it may have led to heart stoppage. he had a fever of 103 for several hours, which is a huge symptom alone. It is very treatable, but that treatment masks the symptom, so it is treated as a symptom permanently after that.

All in all, it was very smart to sent trump to the hospital. he may well have survived without treatment, but why take the chance?

So you are saying he "only" had severe symptoms "one time". That is called having severe symptoms. Right now the symptoms are being masked by treatment, so it is hard to say how severe they are.
