After the fall of the Soviet Union some researchers did a deep dive into the effectiveness of Soviet Propaganda. What they found was that even bright people who knew that they were looking at propaganda and tried to parse the propaganda for the truth were none the less swayed in the direction that the propagandists wanted them to go. In America now most people dont know propaganda when they see it and as well general willful ignorance is epidemic...this is why the Woke Propaganda is so amazingly effective.
And yes, I have no doubt that it has been partially effective on me.
