CBS Legal Exec:No Sympathy ‘Because Country Music Fans Often Are Republican Gun Totes

A top legal executive at CBS, Hayley Geftman-Gold, said she “is not even sympathetic” for the victims of the shooting at a country music festival at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas Sunday night.

“If they wouldn’t do anything when children were murdered I have no hope that Repugs will ever do the right thing,” wrote Geftman-Gold on Facebook, perhaps referring to Sandy Hook. “I’m actually not even sympathetic bc country music fans often are Republican gun toters.”

CBS has a history of hostility towards Republicans. Shortly after the attack on the GOP congressional baseball team gravely injuring Louisiana Rep. Steve Scalise in June, former CBS anchor Scott Pelley questioned whether the shooting was “foreseeable, predictable and to some degree, self-inflicted.”

The original thread was deleted, but not by Geftman-Gold.
CBS did not immediately respond to The Daily Caller News Foundation for comment.

That's some serious Trump Derangement.

lovely..you have people attending a concert, and when they get murdered, then you say they are inhuman
I sincerely hope you don't believe the crap you write - using it as political rhetoric only.

Watermark is only posting rhetoric; because he hopes he can get someone to respond.

Notice how he posted that his rights were taken away; but yet he fails to state what those rights are, that he supposedly lost.
He want's to KILL WHITEY and yet, he's the whitest person on JPP.

Just ignore him.

He's been this way since his last meltdown, some months ago, and the consensus is, it's because he had yet another visit from the FBI, over his comments on JPP; which brings the total to at least two.

:truestory:

It's hard for me to muster up sympathy as well.

When I see people cheer Zimmerman and the kops for killing innocent unarmed Blacks.......it's like welp.

Especially when it's common knowledge that someone who's "unarmed" is a threat to no one, even when they have you on the ground and are slamming your head into a sidewalk.
RIGHT??

What she said was insensitive and callous but I don’t think she should be fired for it. This has got to stop.

no one deserves this

she is an idiot
I didn't see her say anyone deserves anything so tragic. It was a big festival, and I'm not sure if all the acts were country. But...like NASCAR, you would have trouble finding country music fans/bands who would argue against Nevada's open carry with no permit....no license required for most guns....legal machine gun laws.

It's bad karma to celebrate anyone's misfortune, but just like Scalise, you eventually reap what you sow.

Because it's hard to fire him. I said it a day or two ago...we're going to see a lot of killings in the coming year or two...many of them aimed at politicians.
