Caravan of displaced indigenous people repelled with tear gas in Chiapas

 So we needed thousands of US American troops to fire a couple Teargas Gun? :palm:

Makes me wonder ... who's really afraid.

WE gassed folks not even on our own turf, we are what we are, and we will now be able to do the same to americans, we know no one will do anything about it. And we have learned the govt can deploy US military onto US soil while erecting detainment facilities and we the people will just watch is all go down doing nothing at all.

Actually they did that once in Chicago back in 1968 ... ;)

From what I remember, it didn't turn out too good for the Cops who fired the gas.

The power structure knows full well it has lost all sense of legitimacy. This is why police depts have been militarized and the public has been desensitized to the murder of unarmed citizens in the streets/on the job/even in their own homes. This is why the public has incrementally been desensitized to beating down peaceful protesters. This is why the public has been desensitized to corporate for profit prisons with convict forced labor leasing. this is what the public has been desensitized to endless generational wars of occupation and economic colonization that economically cannibalize society at home.

Societies with our level of wealth inequality eventually either go full on police state or into uprising. The people are asleep at the wheel, the power structure is preparing for the Palestinianization of the american public. Reflect for a moment on the history of groups of people who the power structure found inconvenient.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection has used 2-chlorobenzylidene malononitrile, or CS, since 2010, and deployed it 26 times in fiscal 2012 and 27 times in 2013. The use dropped after that, but was still deployed three times in 2016, Mr. Obama’s final full year in office.

So are we trying to say, The U.S. Customs and Border Protocol can handle this without thousands of American Troops sitting around scratching their Nuts?

For a fraction of the cost of Don's political stunt, we could have increased personnel involved in processing asylum applications and followed our own laws. But that's not who americans are. We need to see poor refugees suffer to believe america is great again.
