Capitol riot defendants face upheld trespassing charges in US court

WASHINGTON, Oct 22 (Reuters) - A U.S. appeals court on Tuesday upheld the use of a criminal trespassing charge against nearly all of the 1,500 defendants accused of taking part in the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol, rejecting an attempt to further restrict the charges available to prosecutors.

In a 2-1 ruling, a panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit rejected an appeal by defendant Couy Griffin to toss out his conviction on a misdemeanor charge that bars unauthorized people from entering restricted areas protected by the U.S. Secret Service.

You are not just twisted but apparently blind. Most of us saw Trumpies beating police officers and trashing the capitol. Did you notice that the windows and doors they busted through? Can you actually convince yourself that is not what happened? Can you convince over 140 capitol police
who were injured that it was that way? You have to be lying because nobody could be stupid enough to believe that.

Trump did not arrange or encourage any violence. The fact he is being charged as orchestrating this is straight out of the DemonRats dirty lawfare agenda. Charge, arrest, convict and jail your political opponent.
