FWIW, I support regulated capitalism to protect the rights of individuals. Example: companies selling HCQ as a COVID cure would be subject to penalties or criminal prosecution for any harm they cause.
Additionally, some LP items are idealistic and not practical. Regardless, I prefer their policies over the Democratic "controlled economy" philosophy.

Each person has the right to offer goods and services to others on the free market. It only applies to State legislation. It bans socialism not capitalism.
Libertarians want small Federal gov't, not NO gov't.
