This nation was not created to keep people in need of food and clothing when it is cold, wet and starving. It was created with the core values of the Bible. A Right Winger on this forum who states "I love America" earlier posted that, and I quote; "Employee's are a pain in the ass. They get pregnant. They complain. They get sick" etc. It seems that many Capitalist Americans today don't care a at all about America, but only about themselves. Profits over moral decisions.

I for one think that the people should have gotten the food. The people should have got the clothing. I think that getting sick, pregnant and complaining is not a trait of just employees but everyone who can. In fact, this assumed Employer was crying about complaining.

It's time to wise up America.........United We stand? Or Profits We Stand?

Why don't you raise some capital and put your wonderful ideas to work. You can be the CEO. Desh can be your CFO. Steelplate can be your COO. Howard can be your Treasurer. Tekkychick can run marketing. Rune can run your sales division. Darla can run your HR department. I will help get you a start with some policies

Your ignorance of my perspective never fails. You are saying that I'm a socialist because I made a thread about sharing wealth that I learned from the Bible, not socialism. Total socialism would be the polar opposite of what you are fighting for and what we are seeing today....full corrupt capitalism.

You pay your workers like they are doing your WORK for YOU. But bone heads like you think you do it all.........If you did all your work, you wouldn't have employee's. Pay them for doing your work, not for being a "pain in your ass" as you stated.

Where did I call you a socialist? I merely said that instead of bleating incessantly on an internet message board, you should go out and raise some capital and put your desires into action. Put your money where your mouth is. Any loud mouth can spout about what others should do. You are no different than the loud mouth in a sports bar who thinks he knows better than the head coach.

Henry Ford was not benevolent. He did it to attract good workers. I never said workers weren't important. I said they are a pain in the ass and that is true. But, no business exists to provide jobs. That isn't the point of starting a business. Workers are a necessary expense. But, make no mistake, they are an expense. The goal of any business is to increase profit. That is it.

He crashed the entire world economy

he LIED us into the Iraq war

He paid for that war on the credit card.


He spied on the American people (now you pretend some guy who defected to Russia just told us this).


He cheated in elections to win.


He ballooned the deficit.


he allowed a natural disaster to kill human beings because he didn't care about those people.


The world hated us.

That is why they gave Obama the peace prize just for winning the election.

That's a really silly, moralistic approach to all this. Some people do change the system through business - benefit corporations, co-ops, non-profits -, but that won't properly address it. Because, wow, is it all not set up to cater to the needs of existing capitalists? More than 90% of new firms don't get the capital they need, taxpayer money helps line the pockets of top-downs and their capitalists, who in turn have the ability to enforce ideology in their favor. See, our problems are ingrained into the very sphere of capitalist society.

To make a change, we need a war of position, not a couple of people buying a Starbucks and paying $1.50 extra.
