Jack is always wrong *our wink emoji is gay* but he's a good guy, if a bit TDS deranged
I can never get upset with him. lol
He's like the puppy that won't stop shitting on the carpet even when its nose is rubbed in it.

More importantly state will no longer purchase vehicles powered solely by gas, with exceptions for law enforcement agencies
You know everything is WORKABLE. Everything is doable. It is belligerent ignorance and contempt that are the forces behind all this fuck you, we'll do what we want to. There isn't a gas company out there that doesn't AGREE and know the inevitability and has a plan for the inevitable. Fuck you, fuck your kids, we'll be dead when these decisions become dire and must be made. Just give me MY quarterly profit NOW!
I think it is pretty easy to make lifestyle and policy changes at the margins, like switching government fleet cars to hybrids.
But I don't think we should kid ourselves that achieving a sustainable carbon footprint is going to be easy.
The carbon footprint in the U.S., on a per capita basis, is something like 18 tons per person per year. In China it is around 8 tons per year.
Scientists estimate a sustainable carbon footprint is around 2 tons per year per person. That is close to a 90 percent decrease from current baseline levels in the U.S., if my math is correct.
We have a long way to go to achieve a neutral carbon footprint. It is going to take a sustained, international effort by governments, citizens, and NGOs to even have a chance at achieving those kind of reductions.

I accept your defeat, let that be a lesson to you,!!
CA won't buy cars from makers that backed TRUMPs emissions rollback

Who told you 'Thomas Cook Tours' was a good Investment?
Why do I, and I can't figure it out for myself, but, why do I always think of the Deepwater Horizon when I'm forced to hear your little British accented voice?
I know you have investments in BP and where responsible for rushing the job so you could get a few more shillings on the Quarterly Report.
Havana (anything for a Quid) Moon. (Sad)
I spoke to a Norwegian here in Thailand recently, he told that he worked for Emerson the people that made the defective blowout preventer. I asked him why did BP get most of the blame and he said that's down to scumbag US lawyers and a racist president. Oh and another thing, why is it when you get yet another good kicking, do you then attempt to duck and dive and bring up some irrelevant bullshit?

Yep, Cali's little temper tantrum achieves nothing. Green cars aren't really very green.
Doomsday cultists.![]()
While it takes a bit of overemphasis of the worst case scenario by the press to move the needle of public opinion, your wholesale dismissal of all science on the matter is inexcusable
and cannot be explained other than by fealty to the dirty energy sector profits impaired by scientific fact.
You are closer to witting and recalcitrant flat earthers than we are to doomsday cultists. After all, we have ALL the science.

Since you're an Idiot, I will have to educate you:
"On August 30, 1967, a diverse group of California leaders came together to unify statewide efforts to address severe air pollution. Governor Ronald Reagan approved the Mulford-Carrell Air Resources Act to create the State Air Resources Board, committing California to a unified, statewide approach to aggressively address the serious issue of air pollution in the state."
https://ww2.arb.ca.gov/about/history
"It was not until the early 1950s that it became clear the automobile was the main culprit. That’s when Dr. Arie Haagen-Smit discovered the nature and causes of photochemical smog. He made the discovery while on a one-year leave of absence from Caltech, where he was a bioorganic chemistry professor. Working in a specially-equipped Los Angeles air district laboratory, he determined that two chief constituents of automobile exhaust – airborne hydrocarbons from gasoline, and oxides of nitrogen (NOx) produced by internal combustion engines – were to blame for smog. His research, highlighting the reaction of sunlight with automobile exhaust and industrial air pollution, became the foundation upon which today’s air pollution regulations are based."
Again more diversionary bullshit, didn't anybody tell when in a hole to stop digging?
California's practices have cleaned up air pollution significantly. They have that right. Policies of Repubs that would make their air smoggy and dark should be ignored.
