Capital Gazette Shooting -- Why Is It A Bad Thing To Kill The Media?

You do know this whole incident had nothing to do with Trump? The shooter lost a slander suit against the paper.

Ramos was also apparently a supporter of Donald Trump, appearing in one Twitter post to threaten the Capital Gazette newspaper company that referring to Trump as “unqualified” could “end badly” for the paper, according to Casey Michel, a reporter for the Think Progress site.

When the media stops being unbiased journalists and becomes nothing other than one side or the others propaganda machines, it should be legal to end that by any means necessary.

No I didn't but there are so many idiot's here it's hard to separate the wheat from the chaff.
In other words, you can't tell when a conservative is simply being a conservative or when a sane person is pretending to be a conservative --

Even if this rhym3pays guy is a liberal troll posing as a RW halfwit, I don't need to wade through bullshit of that magnitude.

IGNORE
You do know that coming on a thread to inform people on the thread that you are ignoring that thread (like a sassy little diva)-- is not ignoring that thread

I am serious here Legion. Propaganda has done more to incite wars and violence than most other methods. Particularly now through social media. The biggest cause of course is the dumbing down of the populace who generally cannot tell what is real and what is not. It should require a professional license to be a journalist and a code of ethics. If not, burn it down.

No, now you're advocating murder and mayhem. Educate ppl so they can tell the difference between propaganda and actual reporting. Is critical thinking even taught anymore, outside of universities?

Murder is illegal, Cap'n.

No. Not advocating that at all, at least the murder part. Mayhem, yeah. People are becoming more and more incapable of being educated anymore TOW. They rely on social media for their "truth". To think for them. They will commit acts of violence based on that. Not facts, just what something thinks.
