Can't remember a more overblown scandal than Hillary's emails

Thank-you so much for this post.

"If there is classified information on a computer that Huma Abedin shares with a pedophile you don't think that is a problem?"

This is what I alluding to another post I made (somewhere ) where I was trying to coherently connect the dots regarding what Bill, Anthony, Hillary and Huma all had in common. 2 pedophiles + 2 enablers. Wouldn't be surprised to see a sex trafficking ring showing up at some point hidden behind the Clinton Crime Foundation.

Pinheads don't relate to connecting dots....or believing facts....or using their own common sense....
or arriving at logical conclusions from known facts....

No where in any of my post does it say that phrase.....I stated FACTS, on the record FACTS

 You always bring up that Hillary and dems voted for the resolution. You never blame repubs for their part in the debacle, or even admit that it was a debacle.

Don't forget Trump's pedo lawsuit.

Watergate seems quaint by comparison. Almost comically.

It's a bunny trail with respect to the OP but Obama/Hillary were debacle enablers. Make matters even worse, they learned nothing from it.

See: Libya

Only because YOU always blame Bush and Bush only about that war....True, he made the decision....but then every member of Congress made that
same decision when they were asked to vote on that authorization.....

Just like you blame Bush for lying about WMD....ignoring the fact that a large number of Democrats, including Hillary and Pres. Bill, said EXACTLY the same things over a period of years....EXACTLY.....are you incapable of connecting the dots here too....of making some logical conclusions about these FACTS......I don't believe in the double standard like you guys and I always point out hypocrisy like this....

You always go back to those old quotes of the 1990s but never acknowledge the facts in the Downing Street memo.

Not at all. It is the same w/ Benghazi. The same people who barely blinked an eyelash about Bush's unnecessary 10-year war that was rife w/ incompetence and tactical mistakes - as well as THOUSANDS of lost lives - are crazed about it.

Total double-standard.
Yep...Issa has been at this for 6 years. Nothing has come of it. Remember the good ole days when Cheney outed a CIA agent because her husband embarrassed Bushco over their lies re.'WMD'?

No multi million dollar hearings. No extended news cycles about the fact that our VP is guilty of treason.

Now Trump's only argument is 'don't elect Hillary, because we're going to continue with frivolous investigations for 8 years'.

Any proof of that....not allegations, proof

You always go back to those old quotes of the 1990s but never acknowledge the facts in the Downing Street memo.

The 'Downing Street Memo' is more hearsay than fact.....another accusation that is denied.....so I give it the weight it deserves...The memo doesn't even have an author.

Undeniable quotes over a period of years carry a lot more weight and tell me what these people BELIEVED at the time...thats an important distinction....

A refresher...

The "Downing Street memo" (or the "Downing Street Minutes"), sometimes described by critics of the Iraq War as the "smoking gun memo", is the note of a 23 July 2002 secret meeting[SUP][1][/SUP][SUP][2][/SUP] of senior British government, defence and intelligence figures discussing the build-up to the war, which included direct reference to classified United States policy of the time. The name refers to 10 Downing Street, the residence of the British prime minister.
The memo recorded the head of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) as expressing the view following his recent visit to Washington that "[George W.] Bush wanted to remove Saddam Hussein, through military action, justified by the conjunction of terrorism and WMD. But the intelligence and facts were being fixed around the policy."
It quoted Foreign Secretary Jack Straw as saying it was clear that Bush had "made up his mind" to take military action but that "the case was thin."
Straw also noted that Iraq retained "WMD capability" and that "Saddam would continue to play hard-ball with the UN."

The military asked about the consequences "if Saddam used WMD on day one," posing Kuwait or Israel as potential targets.

Attorney-General Lord Goldsmith warned that justifying the invasion on legal grounds would be difficult. However, the meeting took place several months before the adoption of United Nations Security Council Resolution 1441, the resolution eventually used as the legal basis for the invasion of Iraq. UNR687 also provided a pre-existing basis, as it required Iraq to divest itself of "100%" of all WMD capacity, which the Memo agreed it had not.

A copy of the memo was obtained by British journalist Michael Smith and published in the The Sunday Times in May 2005, on the eve of British elections. Smith stated that the memo was equivalent to the Pentagon Papers which exposed American intentions in the Vietnam War and alleged the American media did not report more about it due to a perceived bias towards support for the war.[SUP][3][/SUP] Though its authenticity has never been seriously challenged, the British and American governments have stated that the contents do not accurately reflect their official policy positions at the time.

This is SUCH BULLSHIT.

Bush made the decision to invade Iraq.

Say it with me this time:

Bush made the decision to invade Iraq.

PERIOD. END OF STORY.

" END OF STORY. " #74
Not so much.
Bush lied.
"Intelligence gathered by this and other governments leaves no doubt, that the Iraq regime continues to possess and conceal some of the most lethal weapons ever devised."
U.S. President Bush (the younger) televised address to the U.S. March 17th, 2003

Why do you flaunt your stupidity.....

Of course Bush made the decision....

Its utterly stupid to not recognize that by going to Congress and asking for a vote, that EVERY PERSON that voted for or against made the determination...to either invade Iraq or not....its not rocket science, ITS COMMON LOGICAL SENSE.....no authorization, no war.....its as simple as that.......

Not so much.
Bush lied.

Senator Hillary Clinton (Democrat, New York)
Addressing the US Senate
October 10, 2002

"Saddam Hussein certainly has chemical and biological weapons. There's no question about that."

Then logically....Hillary Clinton lied....

Oh no...not Obama too.....

State Senator Barack Obama (Democrat, Illinois)
Speech at Federal Plaza, Chicago, Illinois
October 2, 2002

"In the four years since the inspectors left, intelligence reports show that Saddam Hussein has worked to rebuild his chemical and biological weapons stock, his missile delivery capability, and his nuclear program. He has also given aid, comfort, and sanctuary to terrorists, including Al Qaeda members...

Can't remember a more overblown scandal than Hillary's emails

It's definitely another one for the "fridge"!!!

: )

Thanks #77.

Always fun to read a the other guy's a bum too defense.

I won't challenge your ostensible quotations.
But the Bush quotation:
"Intelligence gathered by this and other governments leaves no doubt, that the Iraq regime continues to possess and conceal some of the most lethal weapons ever devised."
U.S. President Bush (the younger) televised address to the U.S. March 17th, 2003
is an outright, unambiguous lie.
It asserts that intelligence gathered by at least 3 governments, including the United States of America has proof ("leaves no doubt" is the president's wording)
It could not possibly be true. And as a result, during the 8 years of the Bush administration, the president of the United States killed more Americans (over 4k) than numero uno on the FBI's 10 most wanted list, UBL (3k).

Senators Hillary & Obama have an excuse. Their statements were no more reliable than their information.
But the POTUS has access to information they didn't.

Their statements are wrong. That's unambiguously clear.
But the president's statement is surely also a lie; and there are over 4,000 dead as a result.
