Viruses aren't living things, so they don't die.

They are destroyed by UV from the Sun though. They are also destroyed by the immune system, various compounds and elements, high temperatures, etc.

As cloudy as Britain is, it does receive sunlight from time to time! :D
Seattle actually has more fog than London has, and is drizzly for eight months out of the year.

But we do get sunny days.

We have know this from the jump yet for so long people were told to stay home, dont go outside, going to appealing outdoor spaces was often made illegal under COVID Martial Law,

The real facts are, besides your dictionary. Viruses have distinct apparatus that it opperates under some unknown circomstance or outright choice. Proof of life.
