Canadian incompetence leads to death, injuries

A double-decker bus and a passenger train collided in Ottawa on Wednesday morning, killing six people and injuring at least 30 others, authorities said.

The dead included the bus driver, and all of the dead and injured had been on the bus, authorities said at a news conference.

A third of the injured were in critical condition, said Anthony Di Monte, chief of the Ottawa Paramedic Service.

I would agree that incompetence led to the deaths. But I would also have to look at the track record of buses and trains in Canada and compare it with accident rates for the same sort of train/bus accidents in other countries.

Perhaps it is true that Canada stands out as being less competent? I would be interested in hearing your evidence to support that conclusion.

Just be aware that if you fail to prove your submission then you lose even more credibility on this board.
