Nobody will be literally "forced" back to work. Only if they wish to keep their jobs will they return. This is no different than what Reagan did with air traffic control, and I agree with it 100%. Government workers who provide essential services shouldn't be permitted to hold the taxpayers hostage. If they don't like it, they are free to find a job elsewhere. Why is that so difficult for you libs to grasp?

The group representing organized labour in the province says a court decision declaring the Saskatchewan Party's essential services legislation unconstitutional could lead to an expensive fix for the government.
Damages are likely to be pursued both for workers whose rights were infringed upon and for unions that negotiated agreements under unconstitutional legislation, Saskatchewan Federation of Labour president Larry Hubich, flanked by lawyers, told reporters Monday in Regina.
Asked how much money could be sought, Hubich said, "Lots."
But Labour Minister Don Morgan said while Justice Dennis Ball's ruling on the Public Service Essential Services Act, released Monday, "leaves the door open" for unions to seek compensation, there are a lot of variables left to consider.
"In any event, I don't think the damages would be significant," Morgan said.
Ball's decision on the legislation, introduced shortly after the Sask. Party first formed government in 2007, came after years of tension between the government and the labour movement over the controversial law, which
prevented workers who were deemed to be essential from walking off the job. (End)

"Prevented from walking off the job."
In that case being deemed an essential worker means one is forced to work. They are not permitted to walk off the job. What is so difficult for you Cons to grasp? How are they supposed to bargain for higher salaries when they can't strike?
Thankfully, a judge ruled the law unconstitutional.
