I think that's the problem with the position of VP, besides working with the president to accomplish their goals, in which case you can share credit for those accomplishments, there isn't much to grandstand on. Unless you count just the usual duties of the VP like casting tie breaking votes in the Senate, and Harris has so far done that more times than any other VP.
What did Pence accomplish as VP?
Biden?
Cheney?
Gore?
Quayle?
Trump's accomplishments before becoming the president included bankrupting casinos, cheating on every wife, partying with Epstein, turning a fortune that he was born into into a slightly larger fortune that he might have made even more money if he'd just invested it and not touched it, having a reality TV show, running scams like the Trump Foundation and Trump U, oh and being in Home Alone 2.

Thanks for catching my drift on this! VP's serve as the principle advisor to the president, with light duties, mostly Public Realtions, and their main function is being 2nd in line, should something happen to the president, and like you stated- The VP is the President of the Senate!
They are not Czars- they are not in charge of anything- as those are the functions of the Cabinet Members.
