Can someone explain why birtherism is racist?

My preliminary conclusion is based upon my scientific training, not political partisanship.

To my knowledge none others defended, because none others were accused.

- excellent -

Whatever.
The birthers presented their delusion as fact, not as suspicion.
Trump didn't say he suspected it.
Trump asserted it;
and only this month, over 7 years into the Obama administration did candidate Trump explicitly recant. And candidly, at the time he did so, was trailing in the polls, and seems to have done so for self-serving political purpose.

Whose sock are you?

And changing one's name from "Barry" to Barrack Hussein....gives them no concern? You can spray perfume on a big ole smoking pile of dog shit to make it smell better but in the end...its still just a pile of shit. Of course he's a Muslim as he as demonstrated no practical knowledge of Christianity or the Holy Bible. The greatest evidence of his Muslim commitment is the method in which he has spent billions of US TAX DOLLARS and the US MILITARY deconstructing the Middle East and making sure the Muslim Brotherhood moves into the void his leadership has helped create.

^ What nonsense is this? His name is Barack on his birth certificate and "Barry" is just a nickname.

"Go on lol." #60
"The people who say 'you are what you eat' have always seemed addled to me. In my opinion you are what you think, and if you don't think; you can eat all the meat in Kansas City and still be nothing but a vegetable." Russell Baker

In the democratic republic of the United States of America, exercising the First Amendment right of free speech is not a defect or weakness. It is a strength. Self-criticism is the first step toward self-improvement. And know it or not, believe it or not, like it or not, admit it or not; by more than one criterion we are the best in the galaxy.

That's a good point actually. Why listen to me when I have no authority on the subject.

I'll let them tell it:

3 – What is the ruling on the apostate?

If a Muslim apostatizes and meets the conditions of apostasy – i.e., he is of sound mind, an adult and does that of his own free will – then his blood may be shed with impunity. He is to be executed by the Muslim ruler or by his deputy – such as the qaadi or judge, and he is not to not be washed (after death, in preparation for burial), the funeral prayer is not to be offered for him and he is not to be buried with the Muslims.

The evidence that the apostate is to be executed is the words of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him): “Whoever changes his religion, execute him.” (Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 2794). What is meant by religion here is Islam (i.e., whoever changes from Islam to another religion).

Contrary to liberal fantasies, such thinking isn't limited to an obscure branch of Islam. It's a minority within global Islam but it's not an insignificant minority.

What gets referred to as radical Islamic propaganda is considered Islam by millions of Muslims. If you care to get educated on what they think, take a minute to read it.

Maybe you won't look so silly in the future.

You are an approved Muslim scholar who has studied the relevant texts thoroughly, are you? Pardon me - I thought you were just a right-wing American ignoramus.

And, by the way, all the right-wing weirdoes on here should ask their masters' permission to visit the real world, where they would quickly come to understand why that world universally perceives them as racists.

Why do I bother.

Cheer up. Obama's happy Trump finally put the question to rest. :D

"There's an extra spring in my step tonight," Obama said to a dinner hosted by the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation in Washington, D.C., on Saturday night. "I don't know about you guys, but I am so relieved that the whole birther thing is over. I mean, ISIL, North Korea, poverty, climate change, none of those things weighed on my mind like the validity of my birth certificate."

If we could only get Hillary's campaign and the media up to speed lol.

It's a deflection because Hillary sucks on the issues.
