Easy: Americans are sick up to here from having LGBTQRSTUVWXYZ bullshit shoved in their faces every day. Period.
Yeah - that's what people usually say to cover up for campaigns of pure hate.
They're forcing it down our throats! How? By showing a transgender's picture in a very minor part of their marketing?
Ooh. Ooooh.
This is not the only example. Ignore it if you wish ; most Americans are sick of your bullshit.
You asked to an "explanation" for the highly successful beer boycott; you just don't like it.
You're right - I don't like it. Because its only intent seems to be increasing hate, which is something that doesn't need help right now.
Tough shit you don't like it; it's intent is to notify companies to shut up and sell a good product, and stop preaching leftist, anti-science nonsense to us.
Hating us by trying to tell us what we must agree with, which we don't.
The pushback has been quite successful.
Choke on it.
Well, I won't wish you luck in your support of expanding hate in the world.
I'm not telling you what you must agree with. And Bud Light wasn't "preaching" - they were just trying to expand their marketing to different groups. Which some were really scared about, and really triggered by.
How is anyone "hating" anything, by not buying beer?
Forcing the LGBTQRSTUVWXYZ agenda into our faces over the airwaves is hating us.
How is it "in your face?" Are they not allowed to advertise to different groups?
And I've said - I'm absolutely fine w/ individual choices to not drink Bud Light because of that. It's the organized boycotts that are silly, and fear/hate-based.
"Forcing the agenda into our faces" - I doubt anyone would have noticed or known about the minor transgender marketing Bud Light put out there if it wasn't for snowflake Kid Rock going all ballistic about it on twitter.

Funny how boycotting isn't unAmerican when you lizards do it. You just don't like that this one is aimed at the queers and the freaks. You shit stains boycott everything you hate. Oh that's right you don't hate anyone do you? Isnt that the shit you dimwits peddle?
I've spoken out against most boycotts, regardless of ideology. I think they're pretty ham-handed ways to get a point across, and hurt a lot of people who weren't involved in the decision making.
There are some exceptions where they're very targeted and designed to end practices which are legit harmful, but I'm usually against them.
You & the Grok tend to lump me in w/ groups a lot. I'm not a leftist, and don't really align w/ leftists. I agree w/ some positions on both sides, and I'm more of a centrist in general. I'd probably call myself a libertarian, but I don't agree w/ all of their positions either. Just not a fan of labels.
Then stop talking like one. People have a right to boycott. I don't like it either but I dont rail against them. The fact is most people don't like this boycott only because a queer and a freak is involved. The prevailing mood in this country is if you disagree with the narrative then you're a (fill in the blank)phobe. It's bullshit. This is precisely why we have what we have
Of course people have a right to boycott. I have a right to question that boycott - as I did w/ this thread, and really, the main answer I've gotten is that people are free to hate & be bigoted. Which, of course, they are - but I'd be on the side of trying to minimize hate & intolerance.
If talking about liberty & respecting individual rights & choices is now "talking like" a leftist, that's certainly an interesting development. But conservatives in general have been trending against freedom, so I guess it makes some sense.
