Can Donald Trump win? YES

The interesting thing about the poll numbers is this: as bad a month as Trump has had [its so bad there's a rumor he's trying to lose]---why isn't it worse news for Trump?

He should be absolutely buried and he's not. In fact, it would only be a Brexit type upset if he won.

The obvious answer is Hillary sucks lol. The worrisome thing for Hillary is that Trump may get his act together. If he did, this thing can tighten up in a hurry. In contrast, I don't know what Hillary could do [that she's not already doing] that would budge the needle.

In other words, it's kind of up to Trump to affect the change in the poll numbers. The point isn't that he will---but that he can.

That's some interesting spin. Sort of par for the course.

He's really no more in control of the #'s than Hillary. If anything, what we're seeing is to Hillary's advantage. But candidates are viewed negatively, but Hillary has shown in poll after poll that she has a higher ceiling than Trump.

I don't think any amount of "getting his act together" will help Trump at this point. He has alienated so many demographics, and as many people have made up their mind about him as Hillary.

Trump doesn't strike me as one who would want/need anyone to sell/buy influence to.
He's at war with the political Establishment, and whatever his actual worth is not needing corrupt monies

He has bought influence his entire career, he admits it. Look at the debate where they asked him about Hillary Clinton being at his wedding...

It makes him just as culpable. At least the money HRC got sent a large portion to charity. Trump kept his in for his own pocket.

Very true.....the people that kiss the asses of each and every demographic will lead the pack....its buying votes, almost always with taxpayers money....
Trumps negatives are about subjects the peons can readily understand...Hillary's negatives are a little too complicated to resonate with the common folk....
Some pollsters have already confessed to polling more lefties than righties in order to get the results they're after....not exactly lying, but on the border....and certainly,
careful wording of questions will yield the results you want also.....
The one leading in those polls will use that news to their advantage too....
and lastly, Trump cannot beat the media....outright lies in the news cannot be exposed when it counts, lack of coverage that hurts your candidate and excessive
coverage that helps your candidate cannot be overcome....the media is just too powerful....
His chances are slim but he'll have a respectable showing considering that he is up against......
