Can America afford to elect more Democrats?

Six years after the start of the Great Recession, nearly eight million jobs are still missing from the U.S. economy.

That's how many more people would have jobs today if the economy were truly healthy, according to a new study released by the Economic Policy Institute, a left-leaning think tank.

if that were really the case, can you imagine how absolutely abysmal the republican candidates were considered by the electorate? If those are the sorts of "leaders" the GOP nominates to lead America, is there any wonder why the people don't put a whole lot of stock in that party's ability to guide this country?

Another dimwitted incoherent ramble from the dunce; color me surprised.

Dear dunce; Obama is merely evidence that a small majority of voters are profoundly ignorant and uninformed. But it is equally ignorant on your part to think that Republicans cannot win elections; history would tend to disagree with your naive uninformed opinions.

Exhibit 1, the dunces from the left:

How Obama Got Elected... Interviews With Obama Voters

www.HowObamaGotElected.com looks at how media coverage of the 2008 election impacted what Obama voters knew (or thought they knew) about the campaign.

hack.... do you honestly believe there are not tons of video clips of toothless moronic Bush/McCain/Romney voters?

the fact remains... the GOP demographics are not looking pretty... you are far behind in the very demographic groups who are increasing their numbers the most rapidly, and ahead in the groups who are declining. You can do a little basic trend analysis, can't you?

How ironic, an offensive dishonest repugnant partisan hack calling others hacks. You just can’t help yourself can you dunce?

do you honestly believe there are not tons of video clips of toothless moronic Bush/McCain/Romney voters?

Do post them; let’s see them. The video I posted was honestly produced and factually illustrates what a bunch of uneducated dunces Americans are and proves that they elected a dimwit like Obama for no other reason than they fell for the media propaganda.

the fact remains...

What would a dishonest repugnant illiterate leftist dunce like you know about facts?

the GOP demographics are not looking pretty... you are far behind in the very demographic groups who are increasing their numbers the most rapidly, and ahead in the groups who are declining.

I am amused by your uneducated dullard rhetoric. We have heard such predictive nonsense from clueless dunces from the left as long as I can remember.

You can do a little basic trend analysis, can't you?

I can, and as I lectured you on another thread; the trend actually suggests that Democrat dominance in the Congress is waning, not gaining. But then, what does a dishonest repugnant partisan dunce like you care about mundane things like facts, reality and the truth?

FACT; for almost five decades Democrats controlled Congress. That trend started waning in Reagan’s Presidency and disappeared in 1994.

FACT: for Presidential elections; there is no trend. Since 1913, There have been NINE Republican Presidents and EIGHT Democratic.

Now you can pretend the “trend” is going the other way; but the facts suggest another picture.

long term prospects for the GOP look bleak.... whites are growing slower as a demographic group than all the others, and, even among whites, the older voters are predominately GOP, while the younger ones are democrats.

I wonder.

How many Democrats on JPP are under 30?

and how, pray tell, does a handful of people on one internet chat site allow you to establish any sort of baseline for the future?

an interesting quote from the link I provided:

CIRCLE’s review of exit poll data indicates that the number of young people, and likewise the percentage of eligible voters ages 18 to 29, has increased since the 1990s. In 1996, 14.5 million young people voted in the presidential election, representing 37 percent of total eligible voters ages 18 to 29. In the 2000 presidential election, voting among 18 to 29 year olds increased to 16.2 million (41 percent of eligible voters); in 2004, to 19.4 million (48 percent of eligible voters); and in 2008, to 22.8 million (52 percent of eligible voters). Early exit poll results indicate that between 22 and 23 million people ages 18 to 29 voted in the 2012 presidential election, making up 19 percent of all voters. Exit poll data indicates that among voters of that age range, President Obama received 60 percent of the votes and Governor Romney received 37 percent.
