Inability to identify with one's birth-assigned gender is very real, apparently.
It's a real torment that real people have had to endure.
Nevertheless, it is a serious mental birth defect that we're for some reason trying to normalize rather than prevent or cure.
That may even be true of homosexuality. I have never been repulsed by gays and lesbians, and have indeed been on friendly terms with several.
Still, I cannot fully accept it as normal. They would be highly insulted to hear that, and I don't wish to insult anybody (except Republicans) but that's my honest suspicion.
The transgender thing, however, is far more serious.
There is a man-to-woman transgendered pro wrestler frequently performing on television today.
Yet, she (if that pronoun is OK--I REFUSE TO USE PLURAL PRONOUNS AS SINGULAR BECAUE GOOD GRAMMAR IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN PEOPLES"S FUCKING "FEELINGS"--)
is married to a woman. She likes women, not as the male she was at birth but rather as a lesbian.
Somebody explain to me why we might consider that normal.
If it's just ignorance on my part, then I have to live with it.
I'm trying my best to be open minded, but it's not making sense.
