As a demonstration of charity...a conviction of faith, its called a tithe.....which literally means 1/10th. What did you assume that God used magic to act charitable? God magically answers all prayers? Why would the God of Creation...create the laws of nature and then not use them? The only time the miraculous was witnessed was always for the purpose of confirming new revelations as being truth delivered by the God of Creation.....not to personally reward anyone, as God has nor shows no respect of person. It easy to demonstrate that it was possible...now you prove that it was not possible....or that it did not happen.
