California Senate Primary Was Rigged?

It was according to Katie Porter. This is as about as a safe a blue seat that exists. The question of the primary was would it be two Democrats competing in the general or could Republican Steve Garvey slip in. There were three Democratic candidates and because they split the votes it allowed Garvey to finish in second and qualify the General (where he will get steam rolled).

Katie Porter is not happy about it. But in this era of Trump it's interesting to hear a Democrat use this type of rhetoric.

That’s all it was, “rhetoric”. She qualified the illegality out of it.

Her Democratic opponent had Pelosi's endorsement and raised more money than her. That's politics. (as we've seen many times in the past raising large sums of money does not guarantee victory, but yes it helps)

Like lots of others across the country on Tuesday, she lost. In this heightened election where democracy is said to be on the line, it's a surprising comment (whether she tries to qualify it or not).

I am a fan of Barbara, Katie, and Adam.

But Katie and Barbara knew that Adam Schiff threw his hat in the ring the minute the seat in Congress became available.

And they both knew what they were giving up to throw their hats in the ring when they decided to take a stab at it.

They'll be OK. Perhaps Katie or Barbara may want to run for governor- as THERE MAY BE AN OPENING THERE SOON ENOUGH!
Or they can seek their own seats back in the house.

Their political careers are far from over.

If Katie and her supporters are upset about this loss, they'll soon get over it.

But Katie is going to have her say, and move on.

Barbara has already congratulated Adam on his primary win, and Katie will also before the weekend gets here!

Katie is still a winner in my book and so is Barbara!
