Calais ; " The English must take back their border "

This British exit is not as dramatic as you fuckers are all making it out to be. There will still be huge agreements between Briton and the EU, they will be trade agreements, immigration agreements, financial agreements, guest worker agreements. Its not going to be a huge difference than it has been for over 100 years.
I don't think the banks agree with you Jarod. This all depends on how generous the EU feels. This also makes the state of the U.K. vulnerable. This has left the government quite unprepared. I think discounting the domino effect this will have is wrong.

We hold all the bargaining chips, not the EU. They are so terrified that the whole rotten edifice will collapse that they will want to conclude negotiations quickly and to our advantage.

what do you mean......there won't really be widespread panic and riots?.....markets won't crumble and the elderly won't die?.......hardly seems worth it then does it......

A collapse wouldn't t be good for anyone Tom, especially Britain because your economy is shakier than ours. If the EU shows weakness against Britain it falls apart, so why do you think they are going to negotiate quickly and give you an advantage?

They were told over many years that people did not want a European superstate but the Eurocrats only listen to their own kind. Now they have to listen, the EU doesn't give up easily though, they made Ireland vote twice on the Lisbon Treaty and Norway voted twice on membership. Only last year Denmark voted no for "more Europe".
