They are not eligible for welfare benefits, but the taxes they pay are much less than the benefits they receive for education and health care. The law requires they receive a free education and it is more expensive because most do not speak English and require a bilingual education. In many places entire classes are held in Spanish.

For health care they often go to charity hospitals or emergency rooms if they do not have insurance. They can also get emergency Medicaid funding and Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC).

Also, some states provide for benefits. For example, California's Health for All Kids Act provides unauthorized immigrant children with access to coverage through Medi-Cal, the state Medicaid program.

Oh really? The law says illegals can't get welfare?? Well - the law says they can't live here either but 50 million do and the sanctuary cities say fine!!!

Yup - there are 10 million illegal kids in our schools and at $20,000 per kid that is $200 billion every year educating people that aren't 'even allowed to be here. This is a violation of section 1324 of title 8 of the US code but trump does nothing about it.
