Why does the Trump crowd keep saying this, as though it's any kind of argument against vaccines?

The fact that it doesn't prevent transmission has been known for a long time now. Everyone knows this.

What the vaccines DO is keep you out of the hospital, and the cemetery - very effectively.

that's not true either, many people including myself had reactions to the vaccine, a few have died.

Untrue. Check the stats from Israel one of the most vaccinated countries in the world. China virus is flourishing. We are all doomed, grab a beer and a smoke and enjoy the hours you have left.

Just a minor correction, if I may. Upwards of 90% of those vaccinated will not become infected, period. Of those who do develop a breakthrough infection, 99% will not end up hospitalized or dead. ONLY those who are infected can transmit the virus. The other 90% can not.

CDC doctors claim their is no relation to the vaccine but what would we expect pushers to say. My reaction was severe, no booster in my future

Actually repukes are doing no favor of America at ensuring they at conspiring with tRump in the sewer to enable the covid death, in particular, among their own cult following supporters. I personally feel safe as a result of President Biden and Team insuring that 363 million Americans have been vaccinated and possibly against the COVID variants too.

^^ and the rightwing elite are aware of this. That is why the Trump family, the Rupert Murdoch family, the Tucker Carlson family, the Sean Hannity family are all fully vaccinated.

It boggles the mind that they care more for their power and fame than they do making sure that their base understands the facts about this pandemic and how to stay healthy.

My understanding of the bedrock intellectual principle of conservatism is: "Every man for himself!"


I do not think most rightwing elite feel even a twinge of conscience for surreptitiously getting vaccinated themselves, while promoting vaccine skepticism to their perceived social inferiors in the wider Trumposphere.
