But hey they just want their abominable marriage recognized!

So, where does it end? First it's this and next it is Muslims, then it's Jews, so do you just start letting people discriminate against others they don't agree with and let them use their religion to discriminate?

Yes, and I think you'd eventually see businesses get weeded out. Or new ones popping up to fill the gap left by discrimination.

I think the business, by using the label "Christian" to deny service, is not being consistent if they go ahead and make wedding cakes for people married, divorced and seeking to remarry for non biblical reasons but I still believe it is their right. I have posted my rules for performing marriage ceremonies and this is one of the deal breakers.

In a free society you do. Let the market handle it. What we can't support is government sponsored discrimination. But, each individual property owner should be able to discriminate against who they want for whatever reason they want. Whether the person has too many tattoos if they are muslimes, christians, buddhists etc.

I personally believe a private taxi driver can refuse to drive people for whatever reason they choose.

For every person that denies someone business, there will be someone to take that business.

This is when lefties expose themselves for the anti freedom beings that they are

you can not refuse service to someone because they were born without arms.

laws matter

Yes you can, but if that decision fails your business or ruins your reputation or both then that's on the owner. Freedom is more than forcing someone to bake a cake for you. Freedom is accepting the fact that other free people may not do what you want them to do or want to force them to do. It isn't one way.

No, you wouldn't those businesses would be supported by other bigots, we have seen it happen with the craft store and the chicken sandwich establishment.

You allow one business to discriminate and it begins to escalate.

If you were a justice of the peace, a public servant, you would not have the right to discriminate, as a minister, in your church, your are allowed to discriminate.

I would only partially agree. I think it helps a racist more by continuing their business by shopping there simply because you can. The money still goes to the racist.

I like to embarrass racists by pointing out the immorality of their opinions in front of other people, loud enough to be easily heard.
You don't need to be angry or mean, but you do need to be heard in a public way.
Public embarrassment is more likely to change a racist or bigot than harsh words or boycott.

Norah is right it would take care of itself! You do not seem to have any problem discriminating against Christians!

Lol, how do I discriminate against Christians, patriot? Not believing as you do and pointing out why I don't agree isn't discrimination. Pointing out your faux Christianity isn't discrimination, either. I think you need to get a dictionary and learn the meaning of the word. I have no problem with Christisns, most of my friends and relatives are Christians and I love and respect most of them, but I will speak up when they use their religion in a hateful way.

you have a point...we need to stop messing around and go straight for the liberals......

your racism is destroying the country

we will not allow it to do so.

If you don't want to have to serve gay people or black people or tall people then fucking move out of this country

No it is the made up racism employed by a half black President that has set back race relations. This wasn't about race go away

The racists closest ally is anyone who tolerates their attitude and behavior.
It's not hard to figure out who is a racist if you talk to them at all.
Looking the other way makes you just as guilty by complicity...

That of course is B.S It's called freedom. They may have other qualities I find appealing. Doesn't mean I am going to a kkk meeting with them, and maybe I can help them to see the error of their ways!

Aw but in the same way, you show hatred, disdain, and bigotry toward what they believe in, you can't have it both ways.
