Does the white-washing of Obama's evils it equally turn your stomach?
It fascinates me that you must have had your head up your you know what for the 2 terms of Bush.....no president has ever been ridiculed and demonized and lied about
for 24-7 for almost his entire reign as he has.....and it didn't stop there....there was Cheney, Rumsfeld, Ascroft, Palin, McCain and a host of others that the
left wing media tried to destroy with character assassination and a re-writing of history for those years and for most of Obamas first term....
and as see even now, it hasn't stopped.....

Now that he’s been out of the White House for almost four years, George W. Bush’s post-presidency is coming into sharper relief, and there’s a lot for his critics to admire.
Together with Laura Bush, he spent the July 4th week in Africa, where he helped refurbish a clinic to detect and treat cervical cancer. His jeans splattered with paint and with a baseball cap shielding his eyes from the sun, the former president said his work on global-health issues is a natural outgrowth of the freedom agenda he championed in Washington, noting with his characteristic bluntness: “One aspect of freedom is for people to be free from disease.”
This was Bush’s third trip to Africa since leaving office (Laura’s second), and his emotional ties to the continent reach back to the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief that he put in place 10 years ago to help stop the transmission of the AIDS virus from mothers to children. It was transformative for Africa—and for also for Bush, who found a cause that he could take way beyond the White House, one that would become a building block in the next chapter of his life.
Laura Bush is speaking at next week’s AIDS conference in Washington, the first held in the U.S. now that restrictions have been lifted so people with AIDS can enter this country.

As an African-American, I condemn Bush for Iraq, I support and defend him for his legacy in Africa.
As an African-American, you should know that the devil is in the details...ESPECIALLY when dealing with the Bush Crime family:

True, Bush is calling for $30 billion for the next five years, and that's twice as much as the president asked for in 2003. But Congress is already funding the global AIDS plan at that level, Bryden said.
"I think it is really quite ironic in the last year of his presidency he is pulling the rug out from under his program by proposing that it be flat funded for the next five years, at a time when the epidemic is still expanding and when we really should be aspiring to expand to meet the need of children who have been left out," Bryden said.

So in reality, Bush has increased money given to Big Pharma and church groups, not money to benefit Africa. The idea that he has tripled aid to Africa is mendacious.
He has merely increased the flow of money from the treasury to Big Pharma and sectarian religious groups, to the DETRIMENT of African countries. In return for which, of course, Bush has gotten political contributions on a massive scale.

i wonder if it is possible for a government(s) to act without doing harm (sometimes more harm than good)
the 'arab spring' in north africa has eliminated some dictators, but it also has replaced those dictators with new ones in some places
at least obama got our troops out of iraq, never sent any to libya and has a plan to get them out of afghanistan
and i hope that the most we do in syria is capture and destroy syria's nerve gas' and otherwise stay out of syria

The U.S.–Iraq Status of Forces Agreement (official name: "Agreement Between the United States of America and the Republic of Iraq On the Withdrawal of United States Forces from Iraq and the Organization of Their Activities during Their Temporary Presence in Iraq")
was a status of forces agreement (SOFA) between Iraq and the United States, signed by President George W. Bush in 2008.
It established that U.S. combat forces would withdraw from Iraqi cities by June 30, 2009, and all U.S. forces will be completely out of Iraq by December 31, 2011.
Obama following the lead of his predecessor does not give him ownership of the agreement....you certainly never called the continuation of the tax rates of 2008
