perot was a republican yes? There was always a faction of the party that was anti free trade and i recall repubs always say minimum wage should be up to the states like trump.

the perot reference was to show you a portion of the republican base has always been against nafta and other one sided trade deals.

Clinton is more about her warmongering/personal corruption - but most especially about her arrogance of power.
She is also dismissive of americans who aren't left wing bozos,content to do the usual Democratic politics of divisive demographics.
Then she says she can unite the country? Nobody is more divisive then the Clintons

one of my main reasons for trump is to show the rest of the political class that yes you can run on an anti globalism platform and win. If both Trump and Sanders lose this cycle then no one will run on that for the future.

I don't think many of his fans support him for his anti-globalism... Up till a couple months ago almost the entire party professed to be "free trade"..

It is his personality(lack thereof), his promises & tv show status that attracts them..........

He has tapped into something for sure. As has Bernie. I don't believe this will go away, certainly someone will try to tap into it...... I certainly hope so..

You're confusing free trade with global government. I'm not sure how unless it's intentional; part of a way to demonized Trump supporters I guess.

I support Trump because:
1. He can defeat Hillary.
2. He'll be able to renegotiate bad trade deals and make them fair to US workers.
3. He understands that high corporate tax rates are destroying American jobs.
4. He's not beholden to the status quo, so there is a good chance that he can make substantial changes in our current corrupt system.

see your confusing what the politicians want with what the people actually want. Its not a coincidence perot was a republican. The seeds for nationalism are already in the GOP. In fact before reagan that was what the party ran on. America First.
