You may agree or disagree on the popularity/tastefulness of burning the Koran. But really, its just your OPINION. This is the problem found with a lot of countries, and in particular the U.S.A. People try to instill the idea that OPINION should be law.
For example, you might think gay marriage is wrong, but that's your own personal OPINION. Laws shouldn't be created/destroyed based on people's opinions. Because the fact of the matter is opinion's change frequently, and are often based on personal factors instead of cold hard facts.
So sure, I agree the burning of the Koran is in bad taste, and is pretty stupid. But that's my opinion. What I do know is that its not illegal, and it can be viewed as a form of free speech. So trying to be unbiased, i think it should be allowed if the people want to do it.
And this also means, i can accept the burning of other "holy" books as well, you may know the one... it starts with a B.
