Buried in today's headlines, flipping has begun...

George Papadopoulos has pleaded guilty to a crime directly related to campaign collusion.

But didn't the democrats pay Christopher Steele for dirt on Trump that came from *the Russians*. Is election collusion okay so long as it involves a middle man?

Depends on how they got the information, did it come directly from the Russians or was it based on other evidence. Were they hired to communicate with the Russians or not. Was it dirt that was already out there or did they ask the Russians for help in exchange for something.

The point today is that a Rump campaign official has pleaded guilty. It is a legal fact that the Rump campaign lied to the FBI about collusion with Russia.

Keep repeating that, and other DEMOCRATS will be sure to say they believe you.

Three days after Donald Trump named his campaign foreign policy team in March 2016, the youngest of the new advisers sent an email to seven campaign officials with the subject line: “Meeting with Russian Leadership - Including Putin.”

The adviser, George Papadopoulos, offered to set up “a meeting between us and the Russian leadership to discuss US-Russia ties under President Trump,” telling them his Russian contacts welcomed the opportunity, according to internal campaign emails read to The Washington Post.

The proposal sent a ripple of concern through campaign headquarters in Trump Tower. Campaign co-chairman Sam Clovis wrote that he thought NATO allies should be consulted before any plans were made. Another Trump adviser, retired Navy Rear Adm. Charles Kubic, cited legal concerns, including a possible violation of U.S. sanctions against Russia and of the Logan Act, which prohibits U.S. citizens from unauthorized negotiation with foreign governments.

But Papadopoulos, a campaign volunteer with scant foreign policy experience, persisted. Between March and September, the self-described energy consultant sent at least a half-dozen requests for Trump, as he turned from primary candidate to party nominee, or for members of his team to meet with Russian officials.

Among those to express concern about the effort was then-campaign chairman Paul Manafort, who rejected in May 2016 a proposal from Papadopoulos for Trump to do so.

This is starting to smell like even more very serious charges are on the way!

A foreign policy adviser to President Donald Trump’s presidential campaign has pleaded guilty to a charge of lying to FBI agents.

George Papadopoulos, 30, pleaded guilty on Oct. 5, 2017, but the case wasn’t unsealed until Monday, when two other Trump associates were indicted by a federal grand jury. Papadopoulos reached a plea deal with prosecutors, and has since been cooperating with special counsel Robert Mueller’s probe into Russian interference in the 2016 election.

So much for the big ol "Nothing Burger" Trumpkins tried selling everyone on!

There seems to be plenty of evidence for the Trump campaign rejecting collusion lol.

I dont know why this Papadopoulos story is not even bigger news than the Manafort collusion indictments.

Because there is nothing there. He was a volunteer on the campaign. He tried to set up meetings but was shut down. Like many hangers on of campaigns, he tried to make himself out to be a bigger deal than he actually was.

But, hey who am I to burst your orgasmic bubble today?
