They want the fed to manage and maintain the land, but allow this small group of "ranchers" to do as they please with it. They don't want the land "open to the public" or free to anyone who wants to abuse it as they see fit, they want it cared for and maintained for their exclusive use.

But STY's belief that Governmental oversight of PUBLIC LAND somehow translates to "full government control over others" is just another example of how STY cannot discuss an issue without resorting to outlandish hyperbole.
