If we stay in the single market then you have to accept the four freedoms, including freedom of movement. If it had been as originally, just freedom of labour, then most people would have relatively happy to stay. We will probably leave the customs union as well otherwise we won't be able to negotiate our own trade deals.the leave people say that wto rules are better than the single market

For a supposed "intellectual" you certainly have no way of showing it.
Up to even 10 years ago I would have agreed with that. When liberal used to protest they actually had something to say. They stood around a common cause. It was cohesive. Not recently. They (and not just liberals mind you) just kind of chant things with no common cause or goal. Seems like they just keep protest to protest hoping something sticks.

That is what is concerning to me. It seems like independent thought around the globe is going down the crapper. Lemmings are following each other off the cliff. I hate to use Nazi analogies, but this is exactly how Hitler got into and remained in power. Many knew it was wrong but would not speak up or do something to change it. One would think mankind would have learned that lesson. It does not appear so as of late.
