It was funny watching him cry and whine during his confirmation hearings, claiming I was a virgin through high school and college?!!

The Left already does that. They shut down anything opposed to their views--particularly more conservative views--on social media, and the government regularly investigates people who hold such views.
I love this sort of thing. You see,....the far left has always been prone to doing stupid ineffective shit like harassing people just trying to eat their supper. Now follow along.....If guys like me can piss enuff people off by antagonizing them ,... this sort of nonsense will continue. Which is VERY good for conservatives. Heres how it works.......Every time normal average everyday Americans see incidents like this in the news,.. some arbitrary number, lets say 20,000,....say....."SCREW THIS! Im voting Republican, Ive had it with this crap!" And just like that........CHA CHING....ANOTHER 20,000 Republican voters.

Not that I am saying that the American right has a monopoly on doing stupid things to alienate people. As you pointed out, the left can do it also. BUT...the right is much, much better at stupid than the left.
