Breaking News: Al Gore Splits with his Wife!

I neither want to hunt or have my own shooting range. I could always go to the nearest military base to use a range.

With me residing there, I could invite Topspin out for the weekend and he could whoop me at tennis. Then I could break out the expensive beer and he could break out his bong and we could discuss philosophy...

CNN.com Inadvertently Reveals Al Gore's Email Address
By Alex Weprin on Jun 01, 2010 03:25 PM

When it comes to emails, mistakes happen all the time. But very rarely do they involve former Vice Presidents of the United States.

So it was quite surprising to see CNN.com inadvertently reveal the email address of Al and Tipper Gore Tuesday afternoon.

"Our intention was to keep the email address confidential, and CNN corrected the online post as soon as we discovered the error," a CNN spokesperson told WebNewser.

So what happened? CNN.com today posted a story about Al and Tipper Gore's separation. The story included a link to a PDF of the email the Gores sent to friends. While the email address was blacked out in the PDF, clicking on the black bar opened the user's preferred email client, revealing the address used to send the note.

As the spokesperson noted, CNN has since changed the article to remove the offending PDF, but it was still online for nearly two hours, likely attracting thousands of clicks.

Can you blame her?

According to the breathless wingnutosphere rantings of the last decade, Al Bore is fat, has a beard like Karl Marx, is a sore loser, and drives candy ass tree hugger cars.

She can do better.

"I love the comment about treating dandruff by decapatation"

Seriously..doesn't that seem incredibly over-the-top now?

What's the difference between rating movies & rating albums?
Because a music album is inextricably tied to the artist. The same is not true with an actor that performs in a movie. That movie may be rated R or X but the actor can always walk away from that. With an album it is not just the album that is being rated. It is the artist who performs the music on the album that is being rated and, according to Zappa, this violates the artist constitutionally protected right to free speech by stigmatizing the artist.

Best rationale I've heard, but still weak, imo...

One of the most amazing moments of my life was watching Frank absolutely school those moronic old fossils on why they were wrong.

That a shaggy haired "rock n roll" musician could stand toe to toe with ideological Senators and Congressmen and point out flaw after flaw in their reasoning was just sensational.

Amazing moments are obviously far and few for you.

Frank Zappa schooling congress on their desire to censor musical lyrics that are offensive...similar to your idiotic biased need to misquote those whom you don't agree and dislike...

Zap the fat fucking hypocrite...ride that mule fat boy!
