Bravest woman in Russia reveals why she had to protest against Putin's war

Not so much, Tom, unless your audience is air traffic controllers, Thai barmaids, or global financiers, AFAIK.

I think I can hazard a guess as to why that might be,

It's also interesting that the Daily Mail admits "she recorded a video at home" and adds "unconfirmed information" in a screenshot in their article.

Actually, my first thought was it was legit.
But that that she is using this to get attention for herself.

All she is now is an editor.
After this?
She will be one of the most famous women in Russia.
But then - I am cynical.

Perhaps her motives are 'pure'.
Or perhaps not.

Time will tell.

Risible.

Thailand Tommy read it in the Daily Mail, and that makes it true?

It'd be a miracle that Putin hasn't surrendered by now, if you believe all the propaganda the press has put out.

Have you forgotten that these are the same shills that have lied to you about nearly everything for years?
I'm boycotting propaganda. That includes yours. :awesome:

You are reading too much into it.

I simply find it interesting that a Russian woman on a Russian TV broadcast that (I believe) only transmits to Russia, headlines her message with English.

That's it.

must have been transmitted somewhere it could be posted on the internet.......

GOOD POINT!!!

I actually forgot about that (Russian broadcasts banned in the west).

That makes it even more interesting.
She knows that few watching her will speak English.
Yet she started her message in English.

Ovsyannikova also released a pre-recorded video via the OVD-Info human rights group in which she expressed her shame at working for Channel One and spreading “Kremlin propaganda.”

“Regrettably, for a number of years, I worked on Channel One and worked on Kremlin propaganda, I am very ashamed of this right now. Ashamed that I was allowed to tell lies from the television screen. Ashamed that I allowed the zombification of the Russian people. We were silent in 2014 when this was just beginning. We did not go out to protest when the Kremlin poisoned [opposition leader Alexei] Navalny,” she said.

“We are just silently watching this anti-human regime. And now the whole world has turned away from us and the next 10 generations won’t be able to clean themselves from the shame of this fratricidal war.”

Heart-breaking.
