No facts yet - so no way for anyone to politicize.

I'm sure it won't be long, though. All I saw was that there were explosions. Just hope it's nothing too serious.
 
It's been such a long time...
since I've been to Boston. It reminded me of Portland Oregon with all the bricks and the parks everywhere. You're lucky to live there. I'm jealous.

I hope there isn't some kind of terrorist or evildoer on the loose.
It's probably just some masshole teapartier complaining about living in taxachusetts

Yeah, as if Tax Day doesn't suck enough already, I do find the timing odd. But then, supposedly the Boston Marathon is pegged to Patriots Day, so that could also be the motivation for the timing...

Bombs going off at the Marathon.... three of my friends were running it today... all have checked in safe, but they said it was complete panic and they were two blocks away.
 
The bomb went off about 2 hours after the winners crossed the line, which means that there were a ton of people still running. I hear now that 2 are dead and at least 20 injured. Is there any update?

2 dead, 22 injured... six of them critical. Several amputees. My friends crossed about 20-25 minutes ahead of the explosion. They were a few blocks away when it went off. Said it was complete chaos after that.
 
Fox News is reporting that a person of interest is in custody and that the third bomb that exploded at the JFK presidental library was connected to the other bombs.
