Boehner says facts show Obama a Christian, citizen

I am not saying it happened, I am asking if it did, what would be your position? I am interested in if you belive a birth Cert is required to furfill the constitutional issue.
If it did, and there were records of it, I don't think this would be an issue. There'd be clear documentation as to why the records were missing. I think it likely there'd have been a vote in the Senate just as there was for his opponent.

no

but one would think boehner would go after the issue if it had any merit

obama isn't going to release a copy of the original....unless of course states require that proof to be placed on ballots :)

Boehner's a weasel, the Pontius Pilate of the House. Somebody bring him a bowl of water and a towel.

House Speaker John Boehner says Americans have a right to think what they want to think, even when they're wrong about President Barack Obama's citizenship and his religion.

Well, do they have a right to express an opinion different than yours and his?

You'd probably think differently if you weren't birther-curious.
I doubt that, I believe in personal freedom and will always agree with those who promote what I believe, even if they are Pelosi. The reality is, it isn't a politicians place to tell you what to think or to seek out and find evidence for such things. If the reporter is so sure that they are right, they should take up the story and find the evidence that would convince most of the 58% who say they aren't sure where Obama was born. The Press shouldn't seek to be absolved from their actual jobs by politicians, it just isn't their place to do that.
