The release of police footage, 911 recordings and surveillance footage in two high profile cases this week utterly destroyed the right wing conspiracies and narratives around both cases, leaving right wing nutters swinging in wind.
In particular the utterly insane and ignorant theories around the attack against Paul Pelosi look galactically stupid. The right wing echo chamber has acted like the 'tape' starts when the police arrive, and laughably insist that the two people (the guy with the hammer, and the guy about to be hit in the skull with that hammer) obviously knew each other. That is of course belied by video of the perp breaking into the house, and the 911 call, that makes it clear that Pelosi is trying to get the police to come before the right wing nutter who is in his house looking to kill the Speaker of the House, can attack him. An acquaintance doesn't break into your house and then sit around waiting for the cops to show up.
Moving on to Memphis, we've been told that black men just need to cooperate with the police. We saw clearly on this video what happens when you do. You end up running for your life and in this case, losing your life. Over a traffic stop.
