So a 61 year old man defends himself from a violent attack from a 35 year old guy with a long criminal record and the Liberal New York DA charges him with murder and throws him in Rikers with $250,000 bail. What happened to self defense? What happened to no bail. The attacker came around the counter and attacked the old man over a bag of chips that his girlfriend had no money on her government issued food stamp card. Perhaps her boyfriend should have just paid for the chips instead of blowing his money on a $300 T shirt he was wearing. Now his expensive T shirt has holes in it and blood stains.

That part was clear; the assailant came behind the counter and attack Jose, the clerk. Jose clearly had a right to use deadly force to defend himself against a younger, larger attacker.

Me advocating letting the legal system handle it is not "talking big" as any sane person would know.

FWIW, if it was up to me, I'd require mandatory mental health testing and anyone like you would either be restricted on Internet access or have a tag indicating you are mental such as a "-M" on their username.
