So a 61 year old man defends himself from a violent attack from a 35 year old guy with a long criminal record and the Liberal New York DA charges him with murder and throws him in Rikers with $250,000 bail. What happened to self defense? What happened to no bail. The attacker came around the counter and attacked the old man over a bag of chips that his girlfriend had no money on her government issued food stamp card. Perhaps her boyfriend should have just paid for the chips instead of blowing his money on a $300 T shirt he was wearing. Now his expensive T shirt has holes in it and blood stains.

There's the heat of the moment. Have you seen the entire attack? How many seconds passed between the first stab and the last? If it was 2-3, that's reasonable. If more than five it looks a little worse.

Note that the NY DA also charged him with "criminal possession of a weapon", meaning a knife....which means anyone with a kitchen knife is a criminal in NYC.

The NY DA office is taking heat for this. I'm sure they'll either back off or provide the evidence supporting the charges.

The NY D/A and the mayor do not give a damn about the victims. Time after time they have been shown to be on the side of the far left thugs...in BLM and ANTIFA.

There is no recourse for honest, law abiding citizens in N.Y but to leave that state.

The civil rights of the victims of crime to be safe in their own businesses, their streets and their homes, are non-exist there.
