Why is this a good thing? How does it make the US a better place?

As possible starting points, did Zimbabwe or S. Africa become better places after Blacks got in charge? Is Hong Kong better off under Asian (Chinese) rule than British (White) rule?

ANYONE WHO COMMITS A HATE CRIME SHOULD BE PROSECUTED TO THE FULL EXTENT OF THE LAW.

Focusing on 27.5% of the perpetrators to justify other accusations and assertions while ignoring the other 72.5% of the perpetrators reeks of an agenda...in this case a bigoted one.

Let's expand your mote and bailey fallacy to a more workable level...

Sure there have been individual Blacks who have done great things. But at the same time nations run by Blacks have been uniformly pretty mediocre, with a few exceptions throughout history. Why is that? The one nation in the Western Hemisphere where Blacks were able to successfully hold a revolution is one of the most desperately poor and backwards (Haiti).

Pointing out facts that are true is not racist. It is racist to try and inflate the achievements of a racial group or lie about them. I haven't done that here.

Of course, none of that explains what great advantage accrues to the US if the ethnicity of the nation shifts one direction or another.

Well, the vast majority of Haitian exports were to France and France having been tossed out could reasonably be expected not to continue buying from Haiti. Outside that, Haiti had little to offer any other nation that they couldn't get from existing trade agreements.

More interestingly, Haiti's successful revolution gave Napoleon and France a reason to sell the Louisiana territory to the US.
