Joe Biden - "Time to put Trump in the bullseye."
The press is saying the dead white guy was a registered sex offender so it's ok to kill him . Same press that said George Floyd's extensive criminal past was irrelevant.

march 9 2022 A Dunkin' employee who killed an elderly customer will avoid jail time after pleading guilty to a battery charge, a judge announced Monday.

According to WTVT-TV in Tampa, Florida, 27-year-old Corey Pujols got into an altercation with a 77-year-old customer, Vonelle Cook, on May 5, 2021.

Cook initially ordered in the drive-thru, but he became angry about the service he received. As a result, he parked his car and entered the restaurant.

Prosecutors said Cook was "verbally abusive" to employees, including Pujols, who asked him to leave the store.

Police said the elderly customer became even angrier at that point and called Pujols the N-word, WTVT reported.

The Dunkin' employee demanded that Cook not call him the name again, but he repeated the insult, and Pujols proceeded to punch him in the jaw, according to police.

Following the strike, Cook lost consciousness and fell to the floor, where he hit his head. Tampa Fire Rescue transported him to the hospital, but he died from his injuries three days later

Initially, Pujols was charged with aggravated manslaughter. However, prosecutors accepted a plea deal in which Pujols pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of felony battery in order to receive a lighter sentence.

Following the deal, Judge Christine Marlewski sentenced Pujols to two years on house arrest, according to the Tampa Bay Times.

If Cook was black, and Pujols was white, it would not have even been prosecuted. Cook was trespassed out of the business, but instead of leaving, he made threats against the staff. The staff had no way of knowing whether he was armed or not. Cook had a lengthy record of violent crimes, so while he legally could not have a firearm, he may well have been armed.

What was Cook even doing out of prison?

What good is the Florida stand your ground law, if it only defends whites? Why can't a Black person defend himself against a violent white criminal threatening him?
Explain to me why he shouldn't have just called the cops? He wasn't defending his life the dunk asshole just insulted him.

Wow, when the criminal is white, suddenly the alt right suddenly discovers calling the police?

The answer is that it happened in Florida. Florida has a stand your ground law. Pujols does not have to retreat and wait for the police.

As for claims Cook was drunk when he made threats against the staff of the Dunkin Donuts... Cook was originally going through the drive through. If he were driving drunk, there is another problem.

I keep coming back to the fact that Cook had committed a lifetime of violent crimes, including raping children, what the hell was he doing out and driving around.

It was dropped. Read the article

If charges were dropped, he would be a free man, no house arrest. He pled guilty in a plea bargain, charges not dropped, and got house arrest.

The Dunkin employee should have just called the cops.

Florida has a stand your ground law, not a cower and wait for the police law. When Cook became threatening, and refused to stop trespassing, stand your ground kicked in... Or would have had Pujols been white.

It was dropped. Read the article also didn't your mom ever teach you. Sticks and stones will break my bones but words shall never harm me. The Dunkin employee should have just called the cops.

You read it. he pleaded down to felony battery and was sentenced.

In most of the civilized world, Pujols would have had obligation to retreat. If he literally had no where to retreat, he could have defended himself. If he could retreat, he was to retreat, and call the police asking for help.

Florida is one of the exceptions, or perhaps is not part of the civilized world. Florida has a stand your ground law, which gave Pujols the absolute right to chose defending himself before retreat. He was legally at his place of work, unlike Cook who was criminally trespassing. He was reasonably in fear of his life, Cook had a long violent criminal record, was criminally trespassing, was extremely angry, and was acting in a threatening manner.

Was Pujols also upset that he had been called the N-word? Legally speaking, it does not matter.

The only reason that Pujols is under house arrest is that he is Black.
