Because they nominated that as a catalyst for pre-planned worldwide riots. They were laying in wait for something like that to eventually come along.

The riot logistics and supplies and signs were already organized; They just needed a somewhat acceptable catalyst.

That is a lie, as the google search contains VIDEO CLIPS shown on and by various news agencies. Your claims are based wholly on your opinion, supposition and conjecture....NOT reality, as any honest and easy research shows.

I live in the suburbs of New York City. There are many violent crimes that occur that do NOT reach national coverage. One can hardly claim bias for that. Live in any other city, town, suburb in any other state and you get the same treatment. What seems to upset you is that national attention is sometimes given to systemic crimes involving black victims and white perpetrators (i.e., cops vs. civilians). The historical precedent for this nationwide problem results in the periodic national coverage. A matter of fact, a matter of history. Since there is NO history of white slavery to compare to that of black Americans, no history of Jim Crow, no history of enacting amendments to the Constitution to rectify systemic racist and bigoted "legal" actions as such, it's understandable to the rational, objective person why your angst is essentially false.

If you're going to be a propagandist for racist/extreme right wing ideology, at least make a realistic effort at it.
