As someone with Oglala in my veins, I've studied Native culture and heritage for many years, but I've never heard of that story .. which is not to suggest that it isn't true, just that I've never heard it.

My study concentrated on the fascinating dynamic between Native people and African-Americans, particularly during slavery. Absolutely fascinating history.
