An elderly woman who was beaten and burned during a robbery inside her Meriwether County, Georgia, home has died from her injuries.

Dorothy Dow, 83, was lying in her bed when police said several people kicked in her back door and attacked her on the night of Aug. 4.

“These suspects began to demand money from Miss Dow. She pleaded with them that she didn’t have any money. They began to brutally beat her,” Sheriff Chuck Smith told WSB-TV.

Dow’s arms and fingers were broken, and her face was battered. The sheriff said the robbers then set her on fire with a flammable liquid.

Dow crawled to her cell phone and called 9-1-1, reported the station.

She was hospitalized in critical condition for several weeks and was able to identify her attackers before succumbing to her injuries.

Is that the media's fault, or ours? The media only chases stories that they know will get them ratings. Also, I think you meant to quote me just now, your aim must be off.
 
If there's a media blackout, how come the video World Nut Daily posted has an Atlanta TV station watermark on it?
 
Perhaps he's just upset that stories such as this one that supposedly support his bigoted views don't get as viral as he thinks they should.

"Why can't everyone see that black gangs are burning alive old white people!? It's so unfair!" When in reality, a gang consisting of black men beat and burned a white elderly woman during a robbery. The sentence I just wrote is entirely more accurate to the situation and less sensational. You can't blame people for reading the facts and not feeling as riled up about race as you want them to be.
 
Plenty of stories don't get picked up by national media.

Racists who want to gin up hate for Hispanics, black, and Muslims find them on sites like World Nut Daily and think something's being hidden from them.

Hey jackass, if it's in the local news and affiliates across the country pick it up, then there is no "media blackout". Sorry to inform you that crimes like this occur on an occasional basis, so while they may just get a few inches in a paper in NYC national section, it'll be front page in Georgia.

Your final sentence reeks of the willfully ignorant propaganda of a white supremacist trying to promote his BS. Get a life.

DARTH'S COUSIN MISSING


The vehicle belonging to a Washington County man who has been missing since July was found Monday evening not far from the Appalachian Trail in Keys Gap, W.Va., the Washington County Sheriff's Office said.

Patrick Flaherty, 31, was reported missing on July 15, according to a news release from the sheriff's office.

Deputies said Flaherty's family is concerned for his well-being because of statements he made before his disappearance.

Flaherty is a white male with brown hair and blue eyes. He is about 6 feet tall and weighs 300 pounds.

Perhaps, definitely if there were some proof of racial motivation. Here, there is none. People like you always whine when others just assume a story is racially motivated when it's white on black crime, so why do the same in this instance?

Where did I make an assumption?

I have a hunch an assumption would be made if the races were reversed. Jesse Jackson would roll into town. You know the drill.
 
Your assumption is in the way you worded your title. Black GANGS are burning alive old white PEOPLE, like you think this is part of some sort of systematic targeted attacks, instead of the unfortunate stand alone crime that it is.
