Black American vs. Black Caribbean

My brother in law is mixed race. His mom is white and Canadian and his Dad is from Trinidad Tobago. He was born in Canada but mostly grew up in the States. From a labeling perspective I don't know if that makes him African-American, Afro-Caribbean, Afro-Canadian or what.

It's kind of funny that culturally I'm blacker than my b-i-l but one thing I do know is he would never say it's ok the use the N word against an opponent as Gazza claimed. That's just another example of Gazza being a troll.

We don't use the dreaded N-word against anyone, friend or foe.

Well you should know then that Trinidad is multi-ethnic comprising peoples of African, Indian and Chinese descent along with English, Irish and Scots.

My b-i-l's father is definitely Caribbean dark. My b-i-l is not as dark of course. I just don't know the correct "term", not that I really care.

It is interesting to see my sister's kids though. They have twins and the boy looks like his dad and the girl looks blond like my sister. They look like an inter racial couple, not twins.

Sorry, didn't make it to the Caribbean guy. I can't stand people like this woman. If that were a white jewish woman going off like that in front of a display that might be offensive to her, I would say the same. Get off your overblown ego. Don't teach your kids to keep on hating. The past isn't the past anymore. Lets look into the future instead of using what happened generations ago as an excuse for be miserable bitches.
