I think this was a mistake, we could have respected Muslims a bit after we showed evidence of the death. Now there will be years of idiots denying that he is dead or saying he was dead before and they gave him a "sea burial" to cover the fact that he was already dead. They need to release photos pretty quickly. What is it with our government lately? After the birther "conspiracy" they can't even foresee that theories will abound if you don't produce very quick evidence of the death?

I guess I stand corrected on the following Islamic beliefs. I was unaware they were so against burial at sea.

Note to US.... next time just bury the coward wrapped in pig skin facing West.... towards the country that took him out.
 
I doubt that the burial at sea was an attempt to pacify the muslims. I think they were trying to avoid making a shrine for a martyr. They also wanted to avoid having any nation have bin Laden's body buried in it, which would attract wackos from all over.

But personally I still say that "burial at sea" sounds too respectable. The SEALs disposed of a bullet riddled body. I doubt there was much respect, considering his tactics.
 
What I would have prefered to dumping the Big O's body at sea:

Sever the head and mount it on a pike. Use the rest of the body for scientific testing, the irony being that a Muslim is helping to contribute to the advancement of the sciences.

I think it was more like, "According to our Muslim experts he must be buried within 24 hours, we took his body 18 hours ago and nobody knows where we are at the moment. Let's create a video of a Muslim man cleaning the body then dump him in the ocean so we won't hack off a bunch of moderate Muslims."
 
I figured it was "there's no way we're hauling his ass to the US and going through the hassle of figuring out what to do with it.......what plausible excuse can we come up with for dumping it here?"........

They should have packed the corpse with explosives, crammed a gps unit up his ass, and then when we see the body being moved, fire off the explosives.
