I remember Al Gore making the claim that in twelve years the surface of the earth would be so hot that there would be pools of molten lead, similar to the surface of planet Venus. Obviously the entire AGW theory was a scam and a hoax going back three decades.
It is all nothing but silly Hyperbole of coarse. Grandiose predictions of climate DOOOOOOM to justify silly high budgets and dictatorial authority for the Green Crowd.
I think the AGW non-sense has reached an end. With the Biden Puppet $19T in stolen funds and new debt, America is too far in debt to even consider the Green Crap ever again.
I doubt we have the money to finish allot of the current Wind Turbine and Solar Array projects.
Sad thing is, that facilities that did get completed won't last. One good hail storm and those Solar Arrays are broken glass and toxic waste.

They produce piddle power. They are the most expensive method of generating electricity, watt for watt.
For wind generators:
They are subject to damage from high winds.
They are subject to damage from icing.
They are subject to damage from UV.
They are subject to damage fires.
They kill birds like hawks, eagles, and buzzards, all soaring birds and some of which are protected species.
They do not produce power if wind is too fast or too slow.
Catastrophic failure (which can be due to regulator failure, icing, or wind damage) can throw debris almost a mile away.
They blight the landscape.
