Yes. That is correct. Age of Consent. The legal age people can engage in sex. Different ages depending on where you are.
YOU are confusing 'Age of Consent' with the term 'Children'.
Children are prepubescent.
Age of Consent laws deal with pubescent people (usually considered 13 and above)
 
Anyway, 18 is the age of consent in "Virgin" Islands so it's still illegal if it's under 18.

So no sweat about it. ;) Interesting discussion though. The Federal laws were created to prevent sex trafficking.

Laws in the US (depending on the State) refer to 16 as Age of Consent.

Yeah it's pretty interesting. I'll admit that I am not good with laws but the Federal laws were designed to prevent sex trafficking.

If Epstein's island was in other country with lower age of consent, they would still be prosecuted here in the USA for sex trafficking, which is exactly what happened. :laugh:

Not exactly but ya, one hopes the experts get there eventually. One big problem is that the elites have allowed it to be common to pass money through sometimes dozens of shell companies all around the globe in order to hide the nature of transactions in order to facilitate corruption......those same techniques are also used by terrorists and the people the elites are trying to nab......this was always a bad idea.

I note that I have not heard anyone suggesting that this needs to change.....I say this is because too many paydays of the powerful would be endangered.
