This was a no-brainer and inevitable. Here is an interesting factoid: The two GOP candidates had 514,549 votes to the Dems 372,819.
The only reason there was a runoff is that the GOP was stupid enough to have TWO candidates and one that siphoned off 146,013 votes from Cindy.

Mississippi has the highest percentage of black residents in the country!
DC has highest percentage of black residents, a good deal more than Mississippi, and last I knew it didn't rank as low as Mississippi in many categories
And on the other side, West Virginia was one of the top four for percentage of white people, the other three being New England States, and West Virginia ain't on the top half of any list
